# Remove the domain administrator privileges from a user

`DELETE /gdc/domains/{domainId}/admins/{userId}`

## Response `204`

The domain administrator privileges are successfully removed from the user.

## Other responses

- `400`: The API call failed. This has happened because the user with this profile ID is either not a domain administrator or the only domain administrator in the domain. You can make another user an administrator in this domain, and then re-issue the call.
- `403`: The API call failed because you are not a domain administrator in the domain.
- `default`: Common error
