# Create a new timecard entry

`POST /v1/time_tracking/timecard_entries`

## Request body

- object
  - `date` string, date, required: Specify the date for which you want to update the timecard entries.
  - `user_id` integer, required: Specify the ID of the user for whom you are making these changes.
  - `timecard_entries` object[]
    - `start_time` string, date: Specify the start time for the timecard entry.
    - `end_time` string, date: Specify the end time for the timecard entry.
    - `entry_type` string: Specify the type of the entry. Allowed values are <ul><li><b>clocked_in</b></li><li><b>clocked_out</b></li></ul>
    - `notes` string: Specify notes for updating the timecard of the user. For example, "Updated the entry_type to clocked_in, as it was not captured earlier."
    - `address` string: The address associated with the timecard entry.
    - `detail_uuid` string: The unique identifier of the detail.
    - `lat` string: The latitude location of the driver when the timecard was updated.
    - `lon` string: The longitude location of the driver when the timecard was updated.
