- `400`: Invalid input.
- `402`: Key required. Body carries pricing_url, free_key_url, docs_url and checkout_url when set.
- `409`: Idempotency key already used for this API key when atomic metering is enabled.
- `429`: Rate limit or quota reached. Body carries retry_after_seconds and the same URLs.
- `502`: Upstream data request failed.
- `503`: Backend or atomic usage reservation/finalization unavailable.
