# Update charity settings

`PUT /organizations/{organization_id}/gfm-npo-page/settings`

## Request

Updates the GoFundMe charity settings for an organization

## Path parameters

- `organization_id` integer, required

## Request body

- object: At least one field must be provided
  - `status` 'ACTIVE' | 'INACTIVE' | 'HIDDEN' | 'BANNED' | 'UNKNOWN': Charity Community status
  - `isSeoIndexable` boolean: Whether the charity should be indexed by search engines
  - `allowsFundraiserCreation` boolean: Whether the charity consents to fundraiser creation on its behalf
  - `privacyPolicyUrl` string, url: Privacy policy URL for the NPO's email opt-in; also mirrored to org_privacy_policy_url field (II-2355)
  - `includeInRecommendations` boolean: Whether to include the charity in recommendations
  - `marketplaceDiscoveryOptIn` boolean: Whether the charity opts into marketplace discovery across GoFundMe surfaces; translates to Consumer updateCharityPlacementOptInsAll bulk mutation (II-1807)
  - `donationCadenceMandate` 'ONE_TIME_ONLY' | 'MONTHLY_ONLY' | 'SMART_DEFAULT': Donation cadence mandate applied to campaigns benefiting the NPO; persisted in Consumer charities_meta (PRO-3407/PRO-4338)
  - `autoThanksCoOptIn` boolean: Whether the charity auto-thanks the organizers who fundraise for it (II-2538)
  - `autoThanksDonorOptIn` boolean: Whether the charity auto-thanks the donors who give to it directly (II-2538)
  - `autoThanksFundraiserDonorOptIn` boolean: Whether the charity auto-thanks the donors of fundraisers run for it (II-2538)
