# Create a group in an organization

`POST /api/organizations/{organization_id}/groups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.gocrisp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Requires ``editor`` on the organization.

Dock derives the canonical ``{organizationId}/{slug}`` id from ``displayName`` unless
``groupId`` is given. The creator is not granted anything on the group's
sharable entity: that entity sits under a platform-scope module, where human
grants are limited to Crisp Employees, and org ``editor`` already governs the group.
