# GET /api/v2/accounts/{id}/

`GET /api/v2/accounts/{id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://bankaccountdata.gocardless.com`
- URL: `https://bankaccountdata.gocardless.com/api/v2/accounts/{id}/`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Access account metadata.

Information about the account record, such as the processing status and IBAN.

Account status is recalculated based on the error count in the latest req.

Sample account metadata

- Account: AccountSerializer.
  - `id` string, uuid: The ID of this Account, used to refer to this account in other API calls.
  - `created` string, date-time: The date & time at which the account object was created.
  - `last_accessed` string, date-time: The date & time at which the account object was last accessed.
  - `iban` string: The Account IBAN
  - `bban` string: The Account BBAN
  - `status` string: The processing status of this account.
  - `institution_id` string: The ASPSP associated with this account.
  - `owner_name` string: The name of the account owner.
  - `name` string: The name of account.

## Other responses

- `401`: Token is invalid or expired
- `403`: IP address not whitelisted
- `404`: Account not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
