# List tax rates

`GET /tax_rates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.gocardless.com`
- URL: `https://api.gocardless.com/tax_rates`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a [cursor-paginated](https://docs.gocardless.com/docs/api-reference/data-conventions#cursor-pagination) list of all tax rates.

## Query parameters

- `before` string, nullable
- `after` string, nullable
- `limit` union
  - integer
  - string
- `jurisdiction` string: The jurisdiction this tax rate applies to

Successful response

- TaxRateMultiResourceResponse
  - `tax_rates` TaxRate[]
    - `id` string, required: The unique identifier created by the jurisdiction, tax type and version
    - `jurisdiction` string, required: The jurisdiction this tax rate applies to
    - `type` string, required: The type of tax applied by this rate
    - `percentage` string, required: The percentage of tax that is applied onto of GoCardless fees
    - `start_date` string, date, required: Date at which GoCardless started applying the tax rate in the jurisdiction.
    - `end_date` string, date, nullable, required: Date at which GoCardless stopped applying the tax rate for the jurisdiction.
  - `meta` TaxRatePaginationMeta: Cursor pagination information
    - `limit` integer, required
    - `cursors` object, required
      - `before` string, nullable, required: Cursor pointing to the end of the desired set.
      - `after` string, nullable, required: Cursor pointing to the start of the desired set.

- `401`: Unauthorised
- `404`: Not found
- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Internal Error
