# Get Agent Traits

`GET /api/v1/agents/{agent_id_or_identifier}/traits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.gnosari.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.gnosari.com/api/v1/agents/{agent_id_or_identifier}/traits`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-AUTH-TOKEN`

Get traits associated with an agent.
Supports both numeric IDs and string identifiers for the agent.

## Path parameters

- `agent_id_or_identifier` string, required

Successful Response

- Trait[]
  - `name` string, required: Trait name
  - `identifier` string, nullable: Trait identifier (unique per account, auto-generated from name if omitted)
  - `description` string, required: Trait description
  - `instructions` string, required: Trait implementation instructions
  - `weight` number: Trait weight (0.0-10.0)
  - `is_default` boolean: Auto-assign this trait to new agents
  - `id` integer, required
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `categories` TraitCategory[]
    - `name` string, required: Category name
    - `description` string, nullable: Category description
    - `id` integer, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `tags` TraitTag[]
    - `name` string, required: Tag name
    - `id` integer, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable
