# Approves the request when userCode matches the code the agent shows.

`POST /api/AgentIdentity/Approve`

## Request

## Request body

- AttemptRequest
  - `attempt` string, nullable
  - `userCode` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Approved; the agent receives its credential on its next poll.

## Other responses

- `400`: Wrong code (with remainingTries), locked or expired.
- `404`: Unknown attempt, or it belongs to another user.
- `409`: Already approved, denied or completed.
