# Verify your key

`GET /auth/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.glitter.io/api/v1`
- URL: `https://www.glitter.io/api/v1/auth/verify`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Confirms the key works and returns what it is: its name, organization, team restriction (empty for every team), scopes and expiry. The first call to make after wiring a key in.

    - `name` string, required: The organization the key belongs to.
    - `organization_id` string, required: The organization the key belongs to.
    - `all_teams` boolean, required: Reads every team of the organization, teams added later included; otherwise only `team_ids`.
    - `team_ids` string[], required
    - `scopes` string[], required
    - `expires_at` string, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Invalid or expired key
- `403`: Scope missing or API turned off
- `429`: Rate limited
- `500`: Internal error
