# DeletePersonalAccessToken

`POST /gitpod.v1.UserService/DeletePersonalAccessToken`

Deletes a personal access token.

 Use this method to:
 - Revoke token access
 - Remove unused tokens
 - Rotate credentials

 ### Examples

 - Delete token:

   Permanently revokes a token.

   ```yaml
   personalAccessTokenId: "d2c94c27-3b76-4a42-b88c-95a85e392c68"
   ```

  - `personalAccessTokenId` string, uuid

## Response `200`

Success

- GitpodV1DeletePersonalAccessTokenResponse
