# Read OpenID Connect userinfo

`GET /api/oauth/userinfo`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://git.cafe`
- URL: `https://git.cafe/api/oauth/userinfo`
- Auth: none required

Returns the signed-in person's claims that the connection's OpenID Connect consent shares (`sub`, and the `profile` and `email` claims when approved), for any live access token the connection issued. Returns 404 while ID tokens are not configured.

## Other responses

- `401`: Response for status 401
- `429`: A rate limit is exhausted. Wait Retry-After seconds; the value is a hint, so back off on a repeat 429.
