# Delete a pushed version

`DELETE /api/hosted/{ecosystem}/{name}/{version}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/hosted/{ecosystem}/{name}/{version}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Removes the archives pushed for name@version. If the upstream has the version, clients get the upstream archive again. For generic files, /api/hosted/generic/{name}/{version}/{file} removes only that file.

## Response `204`

No Content
