# Delete cached artifacts

`DELETE /api/cache/{ecosystem}/{name}/{version}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)

Removes the cached files of name@version, or only the one named by filename, so the next request fetches them from the upstream again. Pushed archives are not touched; delete those through /api/hosted.
