# Get a project note's history

`GET /projects/{project_id}/notes/{id}/history`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app2.gettruss.io/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app2.gettruss.io/api/v1/projects/{project_id}/notes/{id}/history`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Every change to the note, oldest first - who made it, when, how, and the content before and after. Available after the note is deleted.

    - `actor_id` integer: ID of the user who made the change (an agent's owner, for agent changes)
    - `actor_name` string
    - `via` 'web' | 'autosave' | 'api' | 'agent' | 'copy_from_last_year'
    - `agent_name` string: Present when via is agent
    - `at` string, date-time: When the change was made (for a run of contacts-panel autosaves recorded as one edit, its latest change)
    - `before_html` string: The note's content before an edit, or at deletion
    - `after_html` string: The note's content after an edit, or at creation
    - `before_task_name` string: The linked task before an edit
    - `task_name` string: The linked task after the change

## Other responses

- `404`: no note with this ID on the project, past or present
