# Check an asynchronous Drive inventory export

`GET /drive/inventory_async_export/{job_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app2.gettruss.io/api/v1`

Requires the same current permissions as requesting an export. Only exports
requested by the authenticated administrator are accessible; completed results must also belong to their current firm. Returns
`pending` (queued or retrying), `running`, `completed`, `failed`, or `expired`.
Poll every 5–15 seconds. Request a new export after failure or expiry.
Job tracking expires after approximately 48 hours; unknown/expired tracking IDs
return 404. An expired manifest may be reported earlier as `expired`.

A completed response mints a fresh manifest URL valid for at most 15 minutes and
never beyond `expires_at`. Poll again to refresh an expired URL while the
manifest is still valid. URL refreshes do not extend the manifest's retention.
`completed_at` is the firm attachment’s creation time, used to determine cache freshness.
Never use completion time as a file-change cursor.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Current export permissions are required
- `404`: Export not found or tracking has expired
