# Get GSTIN details

`GET /v1/utils/gstin/{gstin}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getswipe.in/api/partner`
- URL: `https://app.getswipe.in/api/partner/v1/utils/gstin/{gstin}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

**v1 is deprecated — use the v2 endpoint instead.** Looks up a GSTIN on the GST portal and returns the registered business's details. Useful for validating a party's GSTIN and prefilling their name and address.
