# Delete an item

`DELETE /v1/product/{item_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getswipe.in/api/partner`
- URL: `https://app.getswipe.in/api/partner/v1/product/{item_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

**v1 is deprecated — use the v2 endpoint instead.** Deletes an item by your `item_id`. Deleted items move to the Deleted tab in the dashboard.

- `item_id` string, required

## Response `200`

- ProductResponse
  - `success` boolean: Success flag
  - `message` string: Response message

## Other responses

- `400`: Item not found
- `401`: Unauthorized
