# Delete a customer

`DELETE /v1/customer/{customer_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getswipe.in/api/partner`
- URL: `https://app.getswipe.in/api/partner/v1/customer/{customer_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

**v1 is deprecated — use the v2 endpoint instead.** Deletes a customer by your `customer_id`. Deleted customers move to the Deleted tab in the dashboard.

## Path parameters

- `customer_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Success

- CustomerResponse
  - `success` boolean: Success flag
  - `message` string: Response message

## Other responses

- `400`: Customer not found
- `401`: Unauthorized
