# Get run status and results

`GET /v1/run/{run_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getspine.ai`
- URL: `https://api.getspine.ai/v1/run/{run_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Poll the current status of a run. Returns progress while `running` and
the full result (final output + downloadable artifacts + metadata)
once `completed`.

Current run state.

    - `progress` RunProgress: Present while `status` is `running`.

      - `elapsed_ms` integer
    - `duration_ms` integer: Set once the run reaches a terminal state.
    - `result` RunResult: Present when `status` is `completed` or `partial`.
      - `final_output` string: Synthesized answer or agent summary.
      - `artifacts` Artifact[]
        - `id` string, uuid, required
        - `type` string, required: File extension (docx, xlsx, pptx, html, png, …).
        - `name` string, required
        - `download_url` string, uri, required
        - `size_bytes` integer
    - `metadata` RunMetadata: Present when `status` is `completed`.
      - `template_used` 'auto' | 'deep_research' | 'report' | 'slides' | 'memo' | 'excel' | 'app' | 'landing_page': Preset that controls which block types agents are allowed to create.
      - `models_used` string[]
      - `credits_consumed` integer
    - `errors` object[]
      - `error` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request (bad template, blocks, or UUID).
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or revoked API key.
- `404`: Resource does not exist or belongs to another account.
