# Dashboard start connection

`POST /v1/dashboard/connections/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getsocialclaw.com`

- Auth: API key in cookie `socialclaw_dash_session`

Starts an OAuth or manual connection from the dashboard.

## Request body

- ConnectionStartRequest: Request to start an OAuth or manual connection. Telegram and Discord use manual credentials; other providers return an OAuth URL.
  - `provider` 'x' | 'threads' | 'meta' | 'facebook' | 'instagram_business' | 'instagram' | 'snapchat' | 'tiktok' | 'linkedin' | 'linkedin_page' | 'pinterest' | 'youtube' | 'reddit' | 'discord' | 'telegram' | 'wordpress', required: Provider to connect.
  - `botToken` string, nullable: Telegram bot token. Also accepted as bot_token.
  - `chatId` string, nullable: Telegram chat id. Also accepted as chat_id.
  - `webhookUrl` string, nullable: Discord webhook URL. Also accepted as webhook_url.
  - `client` string, nullable: Optional client hint, for example ios.
  - `callbackScheme` string, nullable: Optional mobile callback scheme. Also accepted as callback_scheme.
