# Accept cancellation retention offer

`POST /v1/billing/cancel/offer`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getsocialclaw.com`
- URL: `https://getsocialclaw.com/v1/billing/cancel/offer`
- Auth: API key in cookie `socialclaw_dash_session`

Applies an eligible 30-day free Lemon Squeezy pause while preserving workspace access. PayPal subscriptions continue in the provider portal instead.

## Request body

- BillingCancellationIntentRequest: Captures optional cancellation feedback before a dashboard billing admin continues in Lemon Squeezy.
  - `reason` string, nullable: Optional cancellation reason id. Unknown values are accepted but are not classified.
  - `detail` string, nullable: Optional free-form feedback, truncated to 2,000 characters.

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- BillingStateResponse: Workspace billing state.
  - `ok` unknown, required
  - `billing` object, nullable
  - `plans` object[]: Available plans.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or unauthorized credentials.
- `404`: Requested resource was not found.
- `422`: Request body or semantic validation failed.
