# Freeze a wallet (kill-switch)

`POST /wallets/freeze`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `x-mgmt-key`

Owner-only: pause every data-plane action for this wallet AND its entire subtree — spend, tools, provisioning, capabilities, execution tokens, token logging, and the LLM gateway all deny with WALLET_FROZEN until unfrozen. Nothing is deleted; unfreezing resumes exactly where the fleet stopped.
