# Check a LinkedIn proxy

`POST /api/sender-profiles/linkedin/check-proxy`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer and API key in header `Team-SID`

Check the team's own proxy before a LinkedIn connect routes a browser through it (custom_proxy_config on start_sender_profile_linkedin_connect): gtm-api probes it and reports whether it answers and where it exits; nothing is written. A proxy that does not answer is result.ok false with error_kind (timeout, tls, network, http_error), not an error; on success result.country_code is the country the browser will carry. The connect probes again and refuses one that stopped answering.

## Request body

- CheckSenderProfileLinkedinProxyRequest: Request body of `check_sender_profile_linkedin_proxy`.
  - `ip` string, required: Proxy host or IP.
  - `port` integer, required: Proxy port.
  - `mode` 'http' | 'socks4' | 'socks5': Proxy protocol; default http. There is no https mode: GoLogin cannot apply one.
  - `username` string, nullable: Proxy username; null = the proxy takes no credentials. Passed straight to gtm-api, never stored here.
  - `password` string, nullable: Proxy password. Passed straight to gtm-api and never stored here.
  - `sender_profile_sid` string, nullable: When editing an existing sender profile's own proxy, name the sender profile: a password left out is then probed as the one its browser stores (same host and username only).

    - `country_code` string, nullable, required: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 of the exit: the country the browser will carry. null when not ok or when the exit could not be placed.
    - `latency_ms` integer, nullable, required: Round trip through the proxy, in milliseconds. null when not ok.

    - `trace_id` string, required: UUID v7; same 128-bit value as the X-Trace-Id header.
    - `span_id` string, required: 16 hex chars, root span of this request.
    - `timestamp` string, required: ISO 8601 UTC (Y-m-dTH:i:sZ), response time.
    - `duration_ms` integer, required: Server-side wall clock.
    - `team_sid` string, nullable: The team this call ran in (the token team, or the team_sid override). Null when unauthenticated; absent from pre-2026-08-20 backends.
    - `actor_type` string, nullable: user | agent | api_key | system. Null when unauthenticated; absent from pre-2026-08-20 backends.

## Other responses

- `4XX`: MCP error envelope. `error.code` is one of validation_failed, nothing_to_update, not_found, relation_not_found, invalid_transition, limit_exceeded, payment_required, duplicate_rejected, conflict, delete_blocked, unauthorized, forbidden, rate_limited, not_implemented.
- `5XX`: MCP error envelope with `error.code` internal_error or service_unavailable.
