# Delete several columns in one call

`POST /tables/{table_id}/columns/batch-delete/`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer

Delete a set of columns as ONE delete: dependents inside the batch never block it, which is what lets a whole column group (a fan-out's children depend on their parent) go in one request. Dependents outside the batch still block, or are repointed via `replace_with_column_id`. A group whose last member is deleted is dissolved. A POST rather than a DELETE because it carries a body.

## Request body

- TableColumnsBatchDeleteRequestSchema: Request body for deleting several columns as one batch.
  - `column_ids` string[], required: The columns to delete. Dependents inside the batch never block it; dependents outside it still do.
  - `replace_with_column_id` string, uuid, nullable: Repoint surviving dependents' references at this column before deleting. Omit to refuse the delete while outside dependents exist.

## Response `200`

  - `count` integer: The number of resources that were deleted.
  - `detail` string, required: The detail of why the resource was deleted.
