# Discard a draft nobody has touched

`POST /sequences/{sequence_id}/discard/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getoneprofile.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.getoneprofile.ai/sequences/{sequence_id}/discard/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes a draft only while it is exactly as New sequence created it: the name it was given, no audience, no senders and nothing written. Any other sequence is left as it is and `discarded` comes back false. The dashboard calls this when someone returns from a new sequence without changing it.

- `sequence_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SequenceDiscardReadSchema
  - `discarded` boolean, required: True when the draft was untouched and is now deleted; false leaves it.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not found.
- `422`: Invalid request made to the API.
- `500`: Internal server error.
- `502`: Bad gateway error.
- `503`: Service unavailable.
