# Move a sequence to Trash

`DELETE /sequences/{sequence_id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getoneprofile.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.getoneprofile.ai/sequences/{sequence_id}/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Move a sequence to Trash. A running one is paused first. Its contacts stop at once and are free for other sequences, and anything it had waiting for approval or queued on LinkedIn is withdrawn. Nothing else is lost: its steps, settings and history stay, and so do its status and messages columns on the audience table. Its name is freed at once.

Restore it with POST /sequences/{id}/restore/; it comes back paused. Trash keeps it for 30 days, then deletes it for good, as DELETE /sequences/{id}/purge/ does at once.
