# Update the workspace's cooldown rules

`PATCH /cooldown/settings/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getoneprofile.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.getoneprofile.ai/cooldown/settings/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

The dial can be left off. Off is where every existing workspace starts. Turning it off or shortening it lets go on the contacts it stopped that it no longer would, where they stood.

## Request body

- CooldownSettingsUpdateSchema
  - `dismiss_suggestion` boolean, nullable: Mark the one-time suggested-default prompt as resolved.
  - `person_cooldown_days` integer, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- CooldownSettingsReadSchema
  - `is_suggested` boolean, required: True when this is the suggested value for a workspace with no saved rule.
  - `person_cooldown_days` integer, nullable, required: Days during which a contacted person is not contacted again. Null is off.
  - `suggestion_pending` boolean, required: True when the one-time suggested-default prompt has not been resolved.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `422`: Validation failed.
- `500`: Internal server error.
- `502`: Bad gateway error.
- `503`: Service unavailable.
