# Deleting a Submission

`DELETE /v1/projects/{projectId}/forms/{xmlFormId}/submissions/{instanceId}`

When a Submission is deleted, there is a period of time (30 days) during which it can be restored. After this time, all of its resources and attachments are automatically purged. Purging deleted Submissions can also be triggered from the command line.
