# Live status

`GET /api/vega/live`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getmyluna.app`
- URL: `https://getmyluna.app/api/vega/live`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `luna_session`

Asleep/awake, hunger state, next feed estimate, last nappy, today's totals and any alert: derived from the log right now. `checklist` is the Getting started state from the server: `first_log`, `partner_joined`, `invite_sent`, `installed`.

## Response `200`

Success

- LiveStatus: Current state derived from the log. Additional keys may appear; the ones below are stable.
  - `now` string, required
  - `asleep` boolean, required
  - `night_sleep` boolean, nullable
  - `awake_minutes` integer, nullable
  - `alert_level` string, nullable
  - `alert_msg` string, nullable
  - `hungry_state` string, nullable: e.g. `not_yet`, `hungry_soon`, `overdue`, `dream_feed`, `unknown`.
  - `next_feed_at` string, nullable
  - `last_milk_ml` integer, nullable
  - `ml_today` integer, nullable
  - `feeds_today` integer, nullable
  - `last_poop_hours_ago` number, nullable
  - `poop_status` string, nullable
  - `expected_bedtime_at` string, nullable
  - `next_nap_window_at` object, nullable
  - `daily_milk_target_ml` integer, nullable
  - `supplement_log` object, nullable
  - `age_months` number, nullable: Null while the family is expecting.
  - `expecting` Expecting: Set while the baby isn't born yet: there is no age and no age-based target.
    - `due_date` string, required
    - `days_until_due` integer, required: 0 once the due date arrives.
    - `due_date_reached` boolean, required
    - `days_overdue` integer: Days since the due date while the birth isn't confirmed yet (0 before it). The family stays expecting until a caregiver confirms the arrival.
