# Delete the family permanently

`DELETE /api/vega/family`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getmyluna.app`
- URL: `https://getmyluna.app/api/vega/family`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `luna_session`

Admin only. Deletes the family, every event, note, token, invite and connector state. Cannot be undone; `confirm` must match the family's name exactly.

## Request body

- FamilyDeleteRequest
  - `confirm` string, required: Must equal the family's name exactly.

## Response `200`

Success

- FamilyDeleteResponse
  - `ok` boolean, required
  - `deleted` string, required: The deleted family id.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
- `403`: Forbidden, or `insufficient_scope` when a bearer token lacks the `write` scope
