# Who am I

`GET /api/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getmyluna.app`
- URL: `https://getmyluna.app/api/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `luna_session`

The username, family id and role the current credentials resolve to. Useful for confirming a bearer token works.

## Response `200`

Success

- MeResponse
  - `user` string, required: Username (internal login alias; not shown to the family).
  - `family_id` string, required
  - `role` 'admin' | 'member', required
  - `name` string, required: What the family sees: your first name, or `Family admin` / `Partner` until you set one.
  - `display_name` string, nullable: Your first name, or null if not set yet.
  - `needs_name` boolean, required: True until you've set a first name (the app asks once).

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
