# Remove an item from a trip

`DELETE /v1/trips/{publicId}/items/{itemId}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Runs `itinerary.removeItem`. The owner and `editor` collaborators may remove; anyone else gets 403. Idempotent: an item id that is not on this trip succeeds and changes nothing.
