# Unfavorite a hotel

`DELETE /v1/favorites`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getmyhotels.com`
- URL: `https://api.getmyhotels.com/v1/favorites`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Runs `user.setFavorite` with `favorited: false`. `entityId` is the `hotelKey` (or an `sh_` ref of the same hotel); this also removes entries saved under a ref before hotel keys existed. Idempotent: removing something that is not a favorite succeeds. Returns `{ favorited: false, entityId }`.

- `400`: Request validation failed or the router rejected the input
- `401`: Missing or invalid bearer session token
