# Delete a chat session

`DELETE /v1/chat/sessions/{sessionPublicId}`

## Request

Runs `chat.deleteSession`; owner-only. Permanent — the session, its messages, attachments, tool state and handoffs are all removed. There is no soft-delete and no restore; a client offering undo must hold the call, not expect the server to reverse it.
