# Turn auto-rebook on or off for a booking

`PATCH /v1/bookings/{publicId}/auto-rebook`

Runs `booking.setAutoRebook`; owner-only. Standing permission, for this one stay, to cancel and rebook it at a lower rate when the guest comes out ahead after any cancellation fee. Arming rejects with 400 unless the booking is `confirmed`, its check-in is still in the future, and it is not itself the replacement for an earlier booking. DISARMING is never rejected — withdrawing consent must always work.
