# Look up one company

`GET /api/v1/companies/lookup`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getleads.io`
- URL: `https://app.getleads.io/api/v1/companies/lookup`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Firmographic profile for one company. Pass exactly one of `domain`
or `company_name`. A miss returns `found: false` and `company: null`.
1 credit if found, 0 if not.

## Query parameters

- `domain` string
- `company_name` string

## Response `200`

Lookup result

- object
  - `ok` boolean
  - `found` boolean
  - `company` object, nullable
  - `query_credits_used` integer
  - `creditsRemaining` integer, nullable

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: Insufficient credits or fair-use limit reached
