# Retrieve webhook public key (JSON)

`GET /webhooks/json_public_key`

This endpoint is used to retrieve the public key used to verify the webhook signature, wrapped in a JSON object. Prefer this endpoint over the deprecated `GET /webhooks/public_key`.

Public key

- WebhookPublicKey
  - `webhook` WebhookPublicKeyObject, required
    - `public_key` string, required: The RSA public key used to verify webhook signatures. The key is PEM encoded, then Base64 encoded with line breaks.
