# Parse IdP SAML metadata XML and validate the certificate expiry (min 6 months)

`POST /sso/connections/parse-metadata`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getgoing.com`
- URL: `https://app.getgoing.com/sso/connections/parse-metadata`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Frontend sends the XML file contents as a JSON string.
On success returns the extracted sign_in_url, signing_cert, and entity_id
which the frontend pre-fills into the form fields.

## Request body

- SAMLParseMetadata
  - `metadata_xml` string, required: Raw XML string content of the IdP SAML metadata file

## Response `200`
