# Create a building

`POST /projects`

## Request

The name is unique within the account; a duplicate is refused with 422.

      - `name` string, required
      - `goals` string: Free-form brief
      - `construction_region` string: Where the building stands, e.g. "Texas, US" or "Bavaria, Germany". Decides which materials and manufacturer products apply there, the currency and units the estimate is priced in, and the norms the album cites. Left out, the place is inferred from the account: where it appears to be, then the language it uses, and metric units when neither settles it. That guess reads the connection the call arrives on, which for an agent is often a datacenter or a VPN exit in another country, so it can land far from the house. Send it whenever the place is known, and ask for it when it is not.

## Other responses

- `422`: The request was understood and refused. The message is the API's own text; show it unchanged. `IDEMPOTENCY_KEY_REQUIRED` — a paid call from an agent key with no `Idempotency-Key` header; nothing was queued, send it again with one. `IDEMPOTENCY_KEY_REUSED` — that header value already names a different request; a new order needs a new value.
