# Create an anonymous QR code

`POST /public/qrcodes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1/public/qrcodes`
- Auth: none required

Create a URL QR code without an account.
The returned `anonymous_token` must be stored on device to retrieve or
claim the QR later. Anonymous QRs have no analytics, no editing, and expire
after the configured number of hours (default 24 h).

## Request body

- object
  - `destination_url` string, required: The URL the QR code should point to.
  - `name` string: Optional label. Defaults to the URL hostname.
  - `anonymous_token` string: Existing session token (so the server can enforce the per-session limit).

## Response `201`
