# Change password

`POST /me/change-password`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1/me/change-password`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Client-ID` and HTTP bearer

Updates the user's password. Requires the current password for verification.
After a successful change, a new API credential pair is issued and the
previous one is revoked (forces re-login on other devices).

## Request body

- object
  - `current_password` string, required: The current password.
  - `password` string, required: New password (min 8 chars).
  - `password_confirmation` string, required: Must match password.

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `401`: No credentials, or credentials that are not valid.
- `403`: The account is inactive, or the plan does not carry this feature.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. See `Retry-After`.
