# Create account

`POST /auth/register`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1/auth/register`
- Auth: none required

Register a new account using the same process as the website.
Returns a mobile token immediately so you can start using the app.
A verification email is sent in the background.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Your display name. Max 100 chars.
  - `email` string, required: Email address. Must be unique.
  - `password` string, required: Password, minimum 8 characters.
  - `password_confirmation` string, required: Must match password.
  - `device_name` string: Optional device label.

## Response `201`

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. See `Retry-After`.
