# Toggle a QR code's active status.

`PATCH /admin/qrcodes/{id}/toggle`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://getdynamicqr.com/api/v1/admin/qrcodes/{id}/toggle`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Client-ID` and HTTP bearer

Switches the code between active and paused. A paused code redirects nobody and keeps
its history and its link.

**Admin only.** The authenticated account must have the admin role.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `401`: No credentials, or credentials that are not valid.
- `403`: The account is inactive, or the plan does not carry this feature.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. See `Retry-After`.
