# Tableau Extraction Status

`POST /api/tableau_extraction_status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.getdot.ai/api/tableau_extraction_status`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/auth/token`)

Poll an async extraction started with `async_job=True`.

Returns `{status}` while queued/running and adds `result` or `error` once
terminal. Only the user who initiated an extraction can read its result, and
only while they still have access to the Tableau skill — a job outlives the
scope an admin narrows, and its result is the data that scope protects.
