# Load Shared Thread

`GET /api/share_thread/{chat_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`

Read-only thread contents for a publicly shared chat.

Mirrors the owner's lineage thread off `source_message_uuid` so a share-link
viewer can read the follow-up conversation. Gated on the parent chat being
public and the org's share-view setting; no write/continue path (the panel
hides its input in shared mode).
