# Load Chat

`GET /api/share/{chat_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.getdot.ai/api/share/{chat_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/auth/token`)

Load a public shared chat with display filtering and pair-based pagination.

Only messages that are displayed to the user are returned (role='user',
display_to_user tool messages, messages with additional_data or
suggested_follow_ups). Pagination mirrors load_chat2 — most-recent-first
pairs, with a one-pair agentic initial page and five-pair history batches.
Responses are always bounded: a shared chat can decode to hundreds of MB,
which no browser can parse.

- `org_id` string, required
- `pairs` integer: Number of user-response pairs to return
- `offset` integer: Number of pairs to skip (0 = most recent)
- `page_only` boolean
- `message_uuid` string, nullable
