# Stream Chat Messages

`POST /api/context-agent/chats/{chat_id}/stream`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.getdot.ai/api/context-agent/chats/{chat_id}/stream`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/auth/token`)

Send message to context agent and stream responses via SSE.

Body:
    message: User message to send (supports large payloads)
    attached_files: Optional list of attached files (uploaded via /upload endpoint)

SSE events are the engine's schema-v1 log entries (name = event type, data =
the full event dict incl. index `i`): user/assistant/tool_use/tool_result,
files_changed, merged, question lifecycle, and terminal complete/error, plus
transport-level `status` and `ping`. Legacy `cost` entries are never served
(_UNSERVED_EVENT_TYPES).
