# Answer Question

`POST /api/context-agent/chats/{chat_id}/answer_question`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`

Answer a pending AskUserQuestion from the running agent.

The suspended turn resumes from its persisted conversation after this answer
is durably recorded. No worker remains blocked while the user decides.

## Path parameters

- `chat_id` string, required

## Request body

- AnswerQuestionRequest: Body for POST /chats/{chat_id}/answer_question — the user's selections for a pending AskUserQuestion call. `answers` maps question text → selected label (or list of labels for multiSelect); `response` is a freeform reply when the user typed instead of picking an option; `skip` declines to answer and lets the run continue immediately.
