# Api Get App Version Source

`GET /api/apps/{app_id}/versions/{sha}/source`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.getdot.ai/api/apps/{app_id}/versions/{sha}/source`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/auth/token`)

The app's source at one listed version (read-only), for everyone who can
view the app — the same people who may read the live source and who see the
version rendered. Only shas from `/versions` resolve, so no caller can read an
arbitrary commit through an app it may view.
